Tungsten Carbide Conductive Block
The tungsten carbide conductive block is the component responsible for transferring pulse current from the machine's power supply to the molybdenum wire at the point of cutting. It operates under continuous electrical and mechanical stress, and its condition has a direct effect on current transmission stability, wire wear rate, surface finish quality, and wire breakage frequency.
Baoshijie conductive blocks are manufactured from ultra-fine grain tungsten carbide through precision forming and mirror-surface lapping. The result is a component with extremely high hardness and excellent wear resistance that extends service intervals compared to standard-grade alternatives. The contact surface is smooth and burr-free, ensuring that current is transferred cleanly to the molybdenum wire without introducing surface damage or additional friction. Low electrical resistivity maintains stable, consistent pulse transmission throughout the block's working life, while precise dimensional accuracy ensures correct fit with the guide wheel seat and straightforward installation.
Compatible with the full range of Baoshijie high-speed and medium-speed wire EDM machines, as well as most third-party machines using molybdenum wire.
