High-Speed WEDM Contact Block Type 1
The Type 1 high-speed WEDM contact block is a power feed component specially designed for high-speed wire-cut EDM machines, measuring 14×14×17mm with a Φ8mm center hole, compatible with mainstream high-speed machine holders. Built on a high-conductivity copper alloy base with optional carbide or tungsten-copper contact inserts, it offers strong arc erosion resistance and low, stable contact resistance. Given the high wire speed and frequent wire-to-block contact on high-speed machines, the optimized design significantly improves contact surface wear resistance, effectively reducing machining instability, wire breakage and surface marks caused by poor conduction. It is a frequently replaced consumable in routine high-speed WEDM maintenance.
